Electromagnetic Polution

As we have more and more mobile phones, satelite boxes, microwave links, WiFi and Bluetooth and all the other RF devices that are available, the frequency bands are getting more and more poluted.

Today a Sky man came to sort out why we've lost an assortment of channels. They've been missing for a few months now and we've had a guy out before to sort it out and he temporarily fixed them but they went away again. It turns out that the local microwave mast, a mere 800 yards away, has had extra broadband transmissions added and these are affecting digital satelite reception all over the area. I expect to see this problem more and more. Anyway Sky are sending out a specialist to see what he can do for us.

But for the moment we still don't have Sky One, Sky One Mix, Plus, Film Four and some of the PPV movie channels, to name a few.

Where can I find £50,000?

The house lease comes up in April next year and we've started looking for houses. We've found this which is completely gorgeous but a little outside of our price range. Well £50,000 outside of our price range.
