Well Done USA...
Nov. 5th, 2008 08:21 am...and the world can breath a sigh of relief.
The first black President. That is historic indeed. The US has come so far in 50 years. Next the first black *woman* President, or even just female one!
Alas in California Proposition 8 (which aims to end gay marriage) is far too close for comfort with the Yes vote a little ahead. Similar propositions to end gay marriage in other states have already passed. If it fails in California then that's a bad set back for US gay rights.
I wonder if you'll ever see the day of the Lady President and her First Lady visiting foreign lands?
