Sorry, I'm now obsessing over thought on this. There's so much more they could have done. Act as a central repository of speakers, and approached schools, offering to provide someone to speak at assemblies. Ditto for girl guide meetings, scouts (assuming enough girls go), youth clubs, etc. etc. Or even going as far as researching the viability of a charity to provide scholarships to girls for technical subjects. Such an opportunity for engaging the people who matter has been missed.
