Actually that previous post got me thinking. One of the more beautiful tarot decks I've seen is Ruby's of Ruby's Asylum. It's based upon Storm Constantine's Wraeththu novels. Ruby has taken Storm's characters and created a set of tarot cards using a character for each card. Using a combination of digital photography and computer graphics she's made wonderful cards. The one for "The Moon" is below.
Ruby says "The Moon represents magic and mystery, but also delusion and illusion. It is a card of veils and mist, where nothing is certain. The character shown here is Ulaume of the Kakkahaar, a har with a strong feminine aspect, but who also represents the moon's nebulous qualities."
