Good morning world!
May. 26th, 2003 07:39 amI woke up bright and early again despite a late night. It seems that my body clock is now programmed to wake me between 07:00 and 07:30 regardless of how much sleep I have had. This is because this is when I have to get up for work. It's quite strange. If I set an alarm then I inevitably wake before it goes off but find I have had a good sleep and feel pretty refreshed. If I don't set an alarm a wake at that time anyway but sleep fitfully. It's almost as though I'm more relaxed knowing that I will be woken at the right time if I've used an alarm.
Well it was really nice and sunny when I first sat at my computer. This is what I saw courtesy of my Indycam (which has missing IR filters hence the slightly odd colouring). It seems to be clouding over a bit now. The blue sky has gone :-( For those non Europeans out there I live in Yorkshire which is on par with Denmark, Newfound Land and British Columbia latitude wise. This means that in summer dusk can get as late as 22:00 and dawn as early as 04:00. Today it was light well before 05:00.
The question is do I return to bed as today is a public holiday or do I just get up and get on? Me thinks bed. I can always read for a bit.
