Infestigestion

It seems I can't have too much sleep today after an absolutely stonking weekend Infesting. First to the bands, some were not to my taste, some were OK and some were good. But there are two honourable mentions. Seabound were bloody brilliant and VNV Nation, well what can I say, they were absolutely fucking fantasticly amazing. I haven't had that much fun in a long long time.

I went primarily with lisaparratt and Zoe. Living twenty to thirty minutes from Bradford Uni meant we didn't stay over but travelled each day. Saturday night echo_echo and sunflowerinrain used our place as crash space. We had a nice chat Sunday morning. Shame it wasn't longer. Guys you're welcome to stay over a Wendyhouse night whenever you wish. Whilst there met many LJers and #uk_goffers. There was the York lot there including gothgrr (Nice to meet you), jezebel_z, ketlogic and vin_petrol to name a few. Also met some from further a field including olethros and gh0st. I think we need some sort of recognition symbol next time so we can actually tell who's who.

We started to suffer at the end of each day with bad legs and feet and so generally left earlier than we would have liked. This is probably because of being over weight and unfit together with bad footwear. It didn't help me standing on something in the garden in my bare feet Sunday morning and chopping a lump of heel off. Now there's more than one employed person in the house that means a bit of free cash for footwear including New Rocks. The best thing about this weekend is that I bought some new jeans this weekend and they were both, a size smaller than my previous pair, and slim fit. Yay I think I may be finally reversing this weight gain thing I've had for the last five years. I can prophecy PVC clothing on the far horizon. Only another thirty kilos to go.

Back to the real world of digital television tomorrow. To the Goth Volvo...
