Too tired to go to bed!

That's how I feel right now. I'm so tired moving from the swivel chair seems like too much effort. It's been a hard week. I've written most of the code of a project, for which I'd budgeted a month to write, in one week. The idea being that I was supposed to hand it over to another engineer at the end of the week so that they could do their bit. The promised meetings never happened and I found out this afternoon that an engineer hasn't even been allocated to take it over. When I heard that I made sure what I'd written built without errors, checked it in and went home. Friday is POETS day anyway but I was willing to work later today. After hearing that I couldn't be arsed and anyway I had to drive to York and back this evening. The drive was tiring as the weather's so nasty and wet today. Completely unlike yesterday. The morning was lovely and as I drove in to work I thought how lucky I was to live and work in such a beautiful area of the country. Today was just grotty. Picked up a take out chinese meal on the way home which I accompanied with a bottle of Bishop's Finger left over from yesterday.

Tomorrow is Wendyhouse night which means I'll spend a lot of the day trying to make my self look good for the evening (a hard task I know but I have to try). My hair needs redying as the roots are quite visible and I'm not sure whether to cut in a fringe or not.
